The "Journey" of Relationships (at least THIS one!)
The "journey" of life is interesting enough. Um hm, very interesting. Adding components like work, family, friends and this ole' crazy world can be mind boggling.. Even heart breaking. Romantic/love relationships tend to be the toughest relationship to build. Even harder to start. Now, I'm no expert on the subject and if you read (and I really hope you did :) my True Story's, you would discover I proudly proclaim..."I'm not quite there!" Kicking and screaming...I admit, I think about it more than I would ever share. Daydreaming, butterflies in my belly or an unsuspecting "blush" that some kind word forces the blood to rush to my face alerting me "I like the way this feels!" Back to earth...fallen from another cloud (9), I decide to either try again or sit this one out. Armed with staggering statistics, I have to choose to either ignore them or let the "journey" of those determined to discover the beauty, challenges and hope of the future, educate me as I listen, learn, live and.....LOVE!
Talking. Listening (not hearing...listening). Loving. Brace yourselves...this is a
True Story.

Part I: Tyler & Lola (heSpeak, sheSpeak...weSpeak)

Tyler:
"The first thing a man, ok...I see is the woman. Yeah, men are visual creatures so the first step for me is whether or not I'm attracted to her physically. My introduction to her is simple...hello, I'm Tyler."
Lola:
"Oh. I can't speak for all women but though attraction is important to us also, the first thing I notice is how he's dressed. Let me say this again...looks ARE important but not necessarily the most important. Security is. His hello was returned with an equally eager but spoken in a tone just above a whisper..."hi."
Tyler:
"Hell yeah I was attracted to her, I let her know just that...I'M ATTRACTED! Ok, ok, ok, just because she said "hi" doesn't mean anything significant. Does she like me? Me personally, I watch and listen for those answers. Now I know every man got a way of finding out, that's IF he care, but I want to know. What does she say? How does she show "attraction" for me? I wait. Watch. Listen. Wait (I know I said that already, I just wanted to show that I'm a patient man
Lola:
"The old people call this stage the "chase" but I don't know if he's "chasing" me until I see it loud and clear. Feel it. I'm not asking him to blow up my cell and fill my inbox with continuous emails but instead, he has sparked an interest that I find flattering. He started calling me. His voice was kind and his emails were sweet. He's sending me one signal and only one...he's interested. I return his calls an emails but slide a couple pictures that I hope make him smile. (Get your mind out of the gutter...tasteful pictures.) I'm interested too."
Tyler:
"Trust? Honestly, I "wing it" at this point. After all, I'm just trying to figure out if she even digs me like that.'
Lola:
"Trust? You better believe it's important. Does he call when he says he will? You know what? He actually does. I mean...it's the small things. Can I rely on him? I guess I have to "wing it" and see."
Tyler:
"I want to see where this goes......"
Lola:
"I want to see where this goes......"
The "beginning" always seems to be so easy....really?
Does it remain cute and simple or does it get complicated and not-so-cute?
Don't cheat yourself...come back and treat yourself to Part II!

After the "initial" discovery of attraction has been established...now what? Who says what and when? There are many unanswered questions
